Clinics are where you go to get advice and treatment for what ails … your modeling! We offer skills training, fellowship with other modelers, information exchange, and mentoring in the hobby. This month Tom Buckingham on Weathering Track.

About the event
What: Mount Vernon WA monthly model railroad clinic
When: Monday, January 15, 2024
Where: Mount Vernon Senior Center, 1401 Cleveland Street, M.V.
Who: Any model railroader or railfan
Time: 7:00pm is clinic start time; doors will be open earlier for set up and socializing
Dinner: A pre clinic, no host dinner will be held at the Mount Vernon Round Table Pizza, 115 East College Way, at 5:00 pm (they have “personal sized” pizzas, sandwiches and a salad bar).
Entry: Please enter through the back door, up the ramp, on the south side of the building (parking lot side). We cannot use the front door, which must remain locked.
Sponsor: NMRA 4TH Division, Pacific Northwest Region – Membership NOT required to attend
Program: Weathering Track by Tom Buckingham.
Build-A-Structure: Bring your in-progress or completed structure(s) you are building as part of our group project.
Modeler’s Showcase: Please bring any models you have built or photos you have taken to share with us. Models under construction are welcomed, so we can see your modeling techniques.
Tool Time: Got a new tool, or a favorite tool? Bring it and show us! Materials and supplies as well.
Projector: We have a new projector, so bring any digital photos on a USB thumb drive.
Sales/Free Table: Got any excess equipment, tools, or supplies you don’t need? We provide a table for sales and give away items.
February Program: Mini-Clinics by Dave Sherwood, Tom Hawkins, Bob Stafford, Mark Malmkar, MMR, Tom Buckingham, Doug Seward, Nick Muff, and Al Carter. Subject matters will be revealed next month – don’t miss out!
